Juliene Joyner was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. She grew up in the country riding 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, tractors, horses, and boats. Anything Juliene could get her hands on, she would take the opportunity to do so. Little did she know her curiosity and urge to make discoveries would later lead her into the film industry. She also played every sport she could until settling on Basketball, Tennis, and Track and Field, but it was undeniable that basketball was her first love. She went on to play NCAA basketball, then tore her ACL for the second time ending her dreams of going to the WNBA. With the hopes that when one door closes, another opens, she attended Louisiana State University and went on to receive a degree in Kinesiology: Pre-Med. One day a Stunt Coordinator saw her riding her riding her bike to class, and offered her a role as a biker. After this unexpected intro to Hollywood, she continued to work in film and television throughout college. After graduating, she left the industry for two years and moved to Nicaragua where she worked for a non-profit. She is now a fluent Spanish speaker. She moved back to the United States in 2015 and officially began her career as a Profession Stunt Woman and Actor. Click here to read more about Juliene’s journey from small town to Hollywood.
